America I'm putting my queer shoulder to the wheel
“I hate how people always say Phil & Lil’s mom is a lesbian, or that they wish she was a lesbian. Why is it so hard to believe that a woman can be strong, powerful, and independent WITHOUT being a lesbian?” Eh, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wishing she was a lesbian. I’ve seen “stranger” situations in even my own family, and I’m all for more representations of queer parenthood. Rugrats was pretty ahead of the curve in a lot of ways; regardless of her orientation, she was an awesome character.
