For fuck’s sake! We bought two packs of this, ate one last night, was about to eat another just now when I was casually glancing at the ingredients. It has fucking chicken fat, cooked chicken, and chicken broth in the ingredients!
What? Why? How is that necessary?! Some people haven’t eaten meat in so long that will make them sick. In a non-meat presenting food with meat ingredients, I think you should put a warning on it. I really do.
i think all animal product ingredients should be listed with the allergens list. seriously.
for now, i have to take the time to read the ingredients on anything and everything i haven’t inspected before because you never know where it’s gonna pop up. beef fat in donuts? yep.
I’ve never understood why it isn’t in the allergens list. I hate the feeling of being excited that something doesn’t contain dairy and then seeing “chicken fat” in the ingredients.
Also beef fat in donuts is the most disgusting thing I’ve seen all day holy yikes

You also have to be very careful of restaurants that put in animal fat and by products into cooked “vegetarian” food.
